What is MyOISS?
MyOISS is the new immigration case management system at Yale. An immigration case management system is designed to streamline and simplify the process of managing immigration-related tasks and compliance. At Yale, MyOISS, serves as a centralized platform for departments and international students and scholars to handle a variety of tasks related to immigration.
MyOISS provides comprehensive support for managing visa applications, tracking visa statuses, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and facilitating communication between international members, OISS advisers, and administrative staff.
Getting Access to MyOISS
Departments that require visa sponsorship are responsible for designating appropriate administrative staff to serve as liaisons with OISS and to use MyOISS on behalf of the department.
Designated staff may enroll in the 'Using MyOISS at Yale' course in Workday Learning in order to request access to MyOISS. After completing the course, they can submit the access request form, which is located on the final page of the training module.
Please note that OISS does not independently screen or verify departmental assignments. Any staff member who gains access to MyOISS is considered officially authorized by their department.
