You must be a full-time salaried Yale employee with an academic faculty appointment of Associate Research Scientist or higher, and have 2-3 years of funding to qualify for Yale sponsorship. Request University Sponsorship
You must complete a Sponsorship Form which collects key information about your visa status and academic accomplishments. Send the following three files to Mihwa Lee.
- A completed Yale University Sponsorship Form
- CV
- Research Statement in the format as specified on the website
Review of the Application Materials
Your application package will be reviewed; your current visa status, expiry date and most importantly your academic credentials will be carefully studied. A meeting will be set up to inform you whether your case for O-1 Sponsorship can be sponsored by Yale.
