Signing Up for the OISS Newsletter
OISS distributes a weekly e-newsletter every Thursday during the academic year to keep you informed about changes in U.S. immigration and tax regulations, activities and programs at the International Center and elsewhere around campus, and general updates that may be helpful to you during your stay at Yale.
Students and scholars are automatically signed up for the OISS newsletter. Spouses, partners, and other community members may sign up using the instructions below.
Note: If you have a Yale NetID you'll be asked to login through CAS. If you do not have a Yale NetID, you'll be asked to set up an account using a non-Yale email address.
Click the checkbox next to our newsletter list, then click “Save”.

Joining the OISS Group
- International students and scholars are automatically added to the OISS group, and can sign in with their Yale NetID & password.
- Partners and spouses may request a guest account and are welcome to join the ISPY group.
Joining the ISPY Group and Subgroups
Request a guest account to join OISS and the International Spouses & Partners (ISPY) group on Yale Connect!
After requesting an account and getting your approval message, follow the instructions below.
How to log into Yale Connect as a guest:
- Go to the Yale Connect page and click the Sign In button
- Next to Guest Accounts, click the ‘Sign in below’ link
- Enter your email address and password you set earlier, then click the Sign In button. You can choose to have the site remember your credentials by clicking the box next to ‘Keep me signed on’
How to join the ISPY Subgroups on Yale Connect
- Log into Yale Connect (see above instructions)
- Go to the Group Signup page
- Click 'Office of International Students and Scholars' from the tabs at the top of the groups list to view all OISS-related groups
- Click the checkbox next to any ISPY groups you’d like to join
- Enter the name and email address of your Yale spouse or partner when prompted
- Click the Join button at the bottom
Note: You may need to be validated by the group’s administrators in order to see the group in your group list and access the group

Yale's Email Subscription Service
Subscribe to receive updates from a variety of campus organizations and offices, including the Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS), Whitney Humanities Center, Center for British Art, Art Gallery, and more! Those without a NetID may also subscribe.
The Yale Email Subscription Service can help keep you up-to-date about Yale and New Haven happenings by providing a central listing of e-newsletters and other electronic communications produced by university departments, organizations, and affinity groups. You can use the service to sign up for publications and notices of interest to you, ranging from arts and cultural newsletters to athletic events to New Haven news and events.
The service is also open to the public so feel free to share with your friends outside of Yale.
