Charlie is the International Community Engagement Specialist at OISS. Originally from Hong Kong, he has served the international student and scholar communities in various capacities at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Baptist University. He holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Hong Kong and spent his college years participating in multiple working holiday programs in Spain and Egypt. Charlie enjoys reading about South and Southeast Asian history, imperialism, and colonialism.
Charlie is an avid gardener who keeps worms for composting, he also cooks for friends and family often. And he is a huge fan of intertidal excursions. At OISS, he will be organizing programs for Yale’s diverse communities and is excited to welcome you at future
