My Adviser Connect (MAC) hours function like virtual office hours. Your designated OISS adviser has a set time each week during which they will be available on Zoom. Please note you should only join your designated adviser's MAC Hours; these hours are NOT general drop-in like our other services.
You can check the calendar below to confirm which times they will be available for MAC hours. Advisers will update this calendar if they are unable to attend their regular MAC hours for the week. Please check the schedule and confirm their availability before joining.
During your designated OISS adviser's MAC hours, complete the form linked in the calendar event below or from their staff page to let them know why you are joining, and then click the Zoom link.
Please note that this service operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so you may experience a short wait before being admitted. If you join outside of the regular MAC hours, your adviser will not be available to see you. These hours are designed for quick immigration questions that can be answered in 5-10 minutes and are not a replacement for scheduling an individual appointment with your OISS adviser for more in-depth advising.
