Your designated OISS adviser has a set time each week when they are available on Zoom for Virtual Office Hours. These hours are for quick immigration questions and are not a replacement for scheduling an appointment with your OISS adviser, which remains the best option for more in-depth advising.

Who Are Virtual Office Hours For?

Virtual Office Hours are only for students and scholars in that adviser's caseload. These are not general virtual drop-in hours [1] — advisers will only see the students or scholars assigned to them, so please only join during your own adviser's scheduled time.

How to Attend

1. Find your adviser's Virtual Office Hours below or on their staff page [2]
2. During your designated OISS adviser's scheduled Virtual Office Hour(s), complete the form linked in the calendar event below or from their staff page to let them know why you are joining
3. Click the provided link to join the queue
4. Wait to be let into the Zoom room by your adviser

This service operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so you may experience a short wait before being seen. If you join outside of your adviser's scheduled hours, they will not be available to meet with you.
