Originally from France, Clémentine (Clem) first came to the U.S. as a J-1 international exchange student at the University of Connecticut through the Baden- Württemberg exchange program. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence (France) and an M.A. in French Studies from NYU.
Before joining the OISS team at Yale, Clem worked with F-1 students in the international office of the University of New Haven. Before that, she worked with short-term international exchange participants in the Camp Counselor and Summer Work Travel J-1 categories at the American Institute for Foreign Study.
Clem enjoys all the outdoor activities that each season has to offer in New England. She particularly likes running and hiking with her husband, Michael, and their son, Louis.
My Adviser Connect (MAC) hours function like virtual office hours. Your adviser has a set time each week during which they will be available on Zoom. You can check the calendar below to confirm which times they will be available for MAC hours. Advisers will update this calendar if they will not be able to attend their regular Mac hours for the week, so please confirm their availability before joining.
During your adviser’s MAC hours, complete this form to let them know why you are joining, and then click the Zoom link. Please note that this service operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so you may experience a short wait before being admitted. If you join outside of the regular MAC hours, your adviser will not see you. These hours are designed for quick immigration or Yale-related questions and are not a replacement for scheduling an appointment with your OISS adviser for more in-depth advising.
