Originally from France, Clémentine (Clem) first came to the U.S. as a J-1 international exchange student at the University of Connecticut through the Baden- Württemberg exchange program. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence (France) and an M.A. in French Studies from NYU.
Before joining the OISS team at Yale, Clem worked with F-1 students in the international office of the University of New Haven. Before that, she worked with short-term international exchange participants in the Camp Counselor and Summer Work Travel J-1 categories at the American Institute for Foreign Study.
Clem enjoys all the outdoor activities that each season has to offer in New England. She particularly likes running and hiking with her husband, Michael, and their son, Louis.
