Originally from Egypt, Salma embarked on a remarkable journey that led her to Yale for her one-year postgraduate studies during her medical school study at the University of Wurzburg in Germany. With a focus on thrombosis in different hematological at the Yale Cancer Center and Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, she’s making strides in the field of medicine.
