American Football 101: Yale vs. Columbia

Saturday, October 28, 2017 - 11:30am to 3:30pm
Have you ever been to an American football game? Well here’s your chance! On Saturday, October 28th, we are co-hosting a program with a New York City non-profit, One To World, to bring together international students from Columbia University and other schools in the area for the Yale vs. Columbia football game! We will teach everyone the basics of American football and then cheer on the Bulldogs at the game. There will be fight songs, cheerleaders, and a marching band…what more could you ask for? We’ll meet at OISS at 11:30am for lunch (pizza) and a presentation about American Football 101, and then we’ll take the shuttle together to the Yale Bowl. The game starts at 1:00pm, and the group will stay until the end of halftime (around 3:00pm). Once we’re back, we’ll be giving a tour of the Yale campus to our NYC guests, which all attendees are welcome to join. More details will be emailed to you closer to the program date.NOTE: Our ticket price covers lunch and transportation - alongside a free football game ticket, courtesy of Yale Athletics. No refunds once the tickets have been purchased.
