We are kicking-off July 4th celebrations with a BBQ at one of New Haven’s newest restaurants, The Stack by Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ!
We will meet at OISS at 4pm and walk to The Stack together as a group, since it’s in an area you might not be as familar with. It’s about a 30 minute walk, so bring comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. If you’d prefer to meet us there, that’s fine too - they have plenty of parking!
Your $5 ticket includes BBQ pulled pork or pulled chicken sliders and cornbread, which are often traditional at many American’s 4th of July BBQs. You will also have the option to purchase your own sides, such as baked beans or mac n’cheese, and they serve a variety of beers that you can purchase if you’re 21+.
We will bring along some cards and a game or two, so this is a great opportunity to try some traditional BBQ while socializing with new friends. We hope to see you there!
