Message on Morocco Earthquake and Libya Floods

September 14, 2023
In the wake of a massive earthquake in Morocco and floods caused by heavy rain and the collapse of two dams in Libya, as OISS staff, we would like to express our deepest sympathy and concern for our Moroccan and Libyan students, scholars, staff, and alumni. The staggering loss of life in both the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya is heartbreaking. In the face of these devastating and tragic events, we want all members of the Yale international community who are from Morocco and Libya, or who have ties or families and friends in the affected areas, to know that we are here for you. Read Yale's message and find additional resources here.
