This is Alaaddin (Yep, like the Disney Character [?]), an adventurer hailing from the vibrant city of Herat, Afghanistan. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in the dynamic field of Biomedical Engineering as a 3rd year PhD student.
My journey into this fascinating field stems from a deep desire to make an impact on healthcare. Imagine creating better ways to test and develop new medicines early on - that’s what I am all about!
Prior to my Yale days, I’ve been fortunate to gather valuable experiences that shaped my path. I hold a bachelor and a master’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
Speaking of Yale, the campus is like something out of a movie with its picturesque buildings [?] and a warm community. Choosing Yale was like finding the perfect piece that fits seamlessly into my academic journey.
Beyond the world of science, you’ll find me kicking around a soccer ball [?], exploring new corners of our beautiful planet [?], and sharing stories with folks from all around the globe. Connecting with people and experiencing diverse cultures truly enriches my soul.
