Per University guidance OISS is temporarily suspending in-person advising until April 16th and staff are working remotely. All OISS programs and events have been postponed.
As part of the University's action to prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19, OISS is making adjustments to our hours and how we interact with Yale's international community. OISS is temporarily suspending walk-in advising hours and all programs and events. All advising will be done virtually and we ask that you communicate with your OISS adviser by appointment, either through email or virtually through Zoom. Make an appointment with your OISS adviser on our website.
Students needing a travel signature should email their OISS adviser. If you didn't get a signature before you left campus, don't worry. We will make sure you have an updated I-20 in time for your return to campus.
If you need to process an OPT application please follow the instructions on the OISS website and submit your request at connect.oiss.yale.edu. OISS will process it and arrange for you to pick up the application. The review will be virtual if needed.
OISS remains committed to supporting our international student and scholar community during this health emergency. While we must do a few things differently, we are available, as always, to answer your questions and address your concerns.
