What better way to get to know your new surroundings than attending New England's State Fair? The Big E only happens once a year, and is the seventh largest fair in the United States and brings together all six of New England states including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont!
The Big E has countless activities to participate in throughout the day, but a few of their big attractions include:
- The Avenue of States
- Livestock and Agricultural Events
- FOOD, FOOD, and more FOOD
- Shopping
- Concerts
- Rides
- and much more
Your ticket price includes roundtrip transportation from OISS to the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts and your entry into the fair. You will be responsible for all other costs throughout the day such as food and ride tickets.
The bus will leave at 8:30am from the OISS and leave the Big E 4pm to arrive back to New Haven around 5:30pm. Attending the Big E is a New England must, so don't miss out on this fantastic event!
