To explore these issues more and learn how to fulfil the 212e requirement, join us for an immigration information session with Attorney Suzanne Seltzer. If you are currently in J-1 status in the Student and Scholar (all but Alien Physician) categories, or the J-1 visa may be a visa option for you in the near future, this session is for you! After this session, you will have the information you need to plan ahead and navigate your immigration to continue your academic endeavors in the U.S.
Note: The session will NOT cover the Conrad 30 waiver for J-1 ECFMG Alien Physicians. 

Attorney Seltzer is the founding attorney of The Seltzer Firm in New York City and has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and NAFSA, Association of International Educators. With her over 25 years of practice, she currently serves on AILA’s USCIS Benefits & Policy Committee, having completed tenures as the Chair of AILA’s Service Center Operations (SCOPS) liaison committee, and recently as the Chair of AILA’s USCIS Benefits & Policy Committee. Suzanne also served on the Annual Conference committee for close to ten years. Suzanne is also a five time recipient of AILA’s Presidential Commendation in recognition of her service to the association. Suzanne was ranked among the nation’s top 20 practitioners in the area of Immigration Law in 2014, 2015, 2016,  2017, 2018, and 2019. She is also ranked in Chambers Global, Chambers USA, and included in Best Lawyers in America, New York Super Lawyers, and New York Magazine’s Best Lawyer’s in New York. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Suzanne received her law degree from Georgetown University’s Law Center (cum laude).
